In order to focus on its rapidly expanding core business of property management, RILSA has decided to entrust its brokerage department to Cardis Sotheby’s International Realty.
Lausanne, 12 October 2015. From its head office in Lausanne, RILSA SA has developed real expertise in the field of property management throughout French-speaking Switzerland. In the capable hands of Christian Niels and his team, RILSA SA has become a prestigious estate agency thanks to its recognised know-how and an extensive property portfolio of 300 buildings and 6,500 homes.
Cardis Sotheby's International Realty and RILSA SA
“This success and our development prospects encouraged us to focus on our core business,” explains Christian Niels, CEO of RILSA. “That’s why we decided to delegate our brokerage business to Cardis Sotheby’s International Realty. We made this choice in the certainty that our customers will benefit from the best skills available on the French-Swiss property brokerage market, while continuing to benefit from our market analysis and property management experience.”
By entering into this agreement, Cardis Sotheby’s International Realty is increasing its leadership on the French-Swiss brokerage market, and offering RILSA’s customers all the skills needed to complete their transactions as swiftly as possible, with access to Sotheby’s International Realty’s international network, one of the biggest real estate networks in the world.
“I am delighted with this agreement,” says Philippe Cardis, Associate CEO. “This transaction reinforces and accredits our business model, which focuses solely on the real estate brokerage business. In the current context, it’s difficult, even unrealistic, to be a specialist in everything. Management and brokerage are two very different activities. To be totally dedicated to brokerage, you have to develop unique expertise by constantly embracing new techniques and modern tools, while retaining the essential local market knowledge and professionalism of a broker.”
The agreement between Cardis Sotheby’s International Realty and RILSA comes into effect on 1 November 2015, with a gradual transfer of the brokerage mandates during the coming weeks. This includes current real estate developments, in particular Epalinges “Vieux Bourg”, “Lutry Pépinières” and Lausanne “Tivoli”, contemporary housing schemes designed for a family clientele at prices that reflect buyers’ financing abilities.
