Duplex apartment on three floors in historic Engadine house, connected by an internal staircase
The old Engadine house from the 16th century is situated in the heart of Zuoz. Zuoz - a 20-minute drive from St. Moritz - is considered the most beautiful village in the Engadine thanks to its magnificent historic village centre with numerous patrician houses.
Including a large living/dining room (room height 5 metres), a vaulted kitchen with an adjoining second dining room, antique Stüvetta with Swiss pine wood panelling, four spacious bedrooms, some of them also with antique Swiss pine wood panelling, an office with vaulted ceiling, four bathrooms and a spacious entrance hall/Sulèr, the large duplex apartment (411 m² usable area) is suitable as a luxurious holiday residence for a large family or as a holiday flat for several friendly families. Common rooms are combined with rooms that guarantee privacy. The apartment has its own garden.
During the renovation in 2013, in consultation with the preservation authorities, the greatest possible care was taken to preserve the historic building structures. The antique floors, windows, vaults and Swiss pine wood walls have been carefully restored. A modern kitchen and bathrooms, which fulfil all desires, grant highest comfort. The three floors are connected by internal staircases and can also be easily reached via the lift.
